Tier on tier shutters are similar to full height shutters. They provide a full window coverage but the with the advantage of the upper and lower panels being separated. Perfect for tall windows, the top and bottom panels operate independently for greater privacy and light control.
The great versatility from tier on tier shutters is that they can provide a room with optimum privacy whilst allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the room.
Due to the independently operated panels, the lower half of the shutter panels can be closed with the louvres tilted. Whist the upper shutter panels can be fully opened to allow sunlight to fill the room. Alternatively, all the panels and louvres can remain entirely closed for maximum darkness, insulation and complete privacy.
Although they can look great on any window, tier on tier shutters are ideal for tall windows, ground floor rooms, bay windows and sash windows.
The flexibility of tier on tier shutters enables customers to achieve similar looks to other style of shutters such as café shutters and full height shutters. With café shutters that only cover the lower half of the window, this can be achieved by fully opening the top panels, giving a café style feel. Whereas all the panels can be closed, and all the louvres are tilted independently from the other panels creating the full height shutter effect.
